About the event
All are welcome for a nature walk behind the dunes, a facilitated group mandala-making activity using natural materials from the Desert, and a guided mindfulness meditation.
Mandalas are repeated circular designs, significant to many cultures as artistic outlets that promote focus, tranquility, and a connection to our natural surroundings. We'll work together to collect materials and create an ephemeral installation on the Desert's unique landscape, and then close the morning with a guided meditation.
Individuals and families of all ages are welcome. As a community-building event, sliding scale tickets are available, including free admission. If you are able, please consider the "Suggested Donation" or "Pay It Forward" tickets to help make this and future programs accessible to all!
