Arts & Ecology Camp
at the Desert of Maine

Campers will explore this unique, resilient and unusual terrain that includes a vernal pool teeming with life, wild orchids, fly eating plants, wild blueberries and more! We will make mixed-media art projects inspired by the Desert of Maine Ecology Walk and learn how the Desert was created thousands of years ago. 

Each day will be split by going on nature walks throughout the Desert, diving into learning at each site of interest and creating artwork in response to focus areas. Artmaking will include printmaking, bookmaking, drawing, painting, fiber arts, 3D work, and a little color theory. Ages 8 and older.
